Basketball Game Preview: Epic South vs. Richmond Hill Lions

Epic South will take on the Richmond Hill Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Epic South knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 contests -- so hopefully Richmond Hill likes a good challenge.

Last Monday, Epic South made easy work of Hillcrest and carried off a 73-53 victory. Epic South has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Richmond Hill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 59-54 to John Adams. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Epic South pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.6 points per game. As for Richmond Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
