Softball Game Preview: Bradshaw Christian Pride vs. Liberty Ranch Hawks

Bradshaw Christian is 0-10 against Liberty Ranch since March of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Pride will venture away from home to take on the Hawks at 3:30 p.m.

Bradshaw Christian fell victim to Argonaut and their airtight pitching crew last Wednesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-0. The Pride's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three last Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Buffaloes.

Carlie Perez was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Kaitlynn Castro also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Liberty Ranch always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Liberty Ranch now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Bradshaw Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Bradshaw Christian suffered a grim 14-3 defeat to Liberty Ranch in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Pride avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
