Recap: Hancock Owls vs. Becker Bulldogs
After flying high against the Lakeview Lakers last Saturday, the Hancock Owls came back down to earth. Hancock was dealt a 105-70 defeat at the hands of Becker on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Saturday (55), Hancock still had to take the loss.
Mitchell Soltau had an outrageously good game for Becker as he scored 30 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Nathan Weiss was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Hancock now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Becker, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will take on Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hillcrest Lutheran Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Becker, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on St. Francis at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th.
