Blythewood is a perfect 10-0 against Spring Valley since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blythewood Bengals will be playing at home against the Spring Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Blythewood has four straight victories, Spring Valley has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Blythewood barely beat A.C. Flora the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Blythewood never let A.C. Flora get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won three contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Blythewood got a massive performance out of Jackson Bottar, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs Bottar has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Amare Counts, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Spring Valley lost 16-2 to Irmo on Friday.

Spring Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Lawton, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases were Lawton's first of the season. Another was Brady Evans, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Spring Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Blythewood, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Blythewood skirted past Spring Valley 4-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Blythewood repeat their success, or does Spring Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
