Baseball Recap: Logan's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It was a good run, but Logan unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Mountain Crest Mustangs, falling 10-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Logan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Jensen, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and two RBI. Jensen has been hot recently, having posted at least one triple the last three times he's played.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Mountain Crest, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

While Logan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
