Recap: Rocky Mountain Grizzlies vs. Shoshoni Wranglers
The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies were the 48-33 winner over the Shoshoni Wranglers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Rocky Mountain took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Shoshoni on Saturday. Rocky Mountain has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Rocky Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tucker Jackson. Despite the final result, he scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Jackson continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Cole Minchow was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Rocky Mountain's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-12. As for Shoshoni, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.
Rocky Mountain will face off against Wind River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Wind River is ranked 52nd, while Rocky Mountain is ranked 54th). As for Shoshoni, they will be playing at home against Greybull at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
