Basketball Game Preview: Guthrie Jaguars vs. Sands Mustangs

The Guthrie Jaguars will face off against the Sands Mustangs on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Guthrie is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top against Lorenzo by a score of 46-37.

Meanwhile, Sands waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 42-21 win.

Guthrie's victory bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Sands, their win bumped their record up to 19-13.

Guthrie took a serious blow against Sands in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, falling 76-31. Can Guthrie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
