Softball Game Preview: Bowie Jackrabbits vs. Holliday Eagles

For the second straight game, Bowie will face off against Holliday. The Jackrabbits will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bowie will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Bowie will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Holliday, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Jackrabbits came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 8-4 on Monday.

Kp Rutherford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sadie Britt, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Laci Goodwin, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Holliday moved to 15-8-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Bowie, their victory bumped their record up to 7-16.
