Softball Recap: Lanesville Takes a Loss

Lanesville lost against Charlestown back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 8-2 to the Pirates.

Lanesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Albers, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lanesville's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Charlestown, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lanesville will host Trinity Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charlestown, they will face off against Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
