Baseball Recap: Glenwood Takes a Loss

If Glenwood was riding high fresh off their 10-3 takedown of Denison-Schleswig on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 11-1 to the Monarchs on Monday. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Glenwood's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Denison-Schleswig, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Glenwood is set to challenge their familiar foe Clarinda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Denison-Schleswig will square off against rival Lewis Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Monarchs 3.8, the Titans 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
