            Baseball Preview: Chittenango Bears vs. Mexico Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            For the second straight game, Chittenango will face off against Mexico. The Bears are taking a road trip to  challenge the Tigers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Chittenango is coming into the  match hot, having won their last four games.
Chittenango's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   4-0  victory over Mexico.
Not much got past  Alex Pappas, who gave up just  three  hits to keep Mexico off the board. Pappas has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Elijah Lefort was  excellent,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. He also  hit a  double, marking his first of the season.

Chittenango has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.5  stolen bases per game.
