Soccer Recap: South San Antonio Finishes Even with Highlands

South San Antonio had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and the Highlands Owls finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Bobcats' first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Maria Rodriguez, who's now up to two this season.

With that draw, South San Antonio's record moves to 2-3-1. Meanwhile, Highlands' record is now 1-4-1.

South San Antonio didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Winn on the 7th. As for Highlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Nixon on the 10th.
