Softball Recap: Johnstown-Monroe Comes Up Short

The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies came up short against the Highland Fighting Scots on Thursday and fell 15-10. The Johnnies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooklyn Wood and Jenna Hochanadel did some serious damage despite the final result: Wood scored two runs while going 1-for-4, while Hochanadel went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Addy Zak, who went 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

Johnstown-Monroe now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Johnstown-Monroe wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-1 win against Utica on the 11th. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-3 victory against Marion Harding on the 9th.
