Baseball Recap: Penn-Trafford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Norwin last Friday, Penn-Trafford came back down to earth. The Penn-Trafford Warriors took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brighton Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Logan Matrisch made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Ethan Septak was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Penn-Trafford's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brighton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Penn-Trafford will square off against Riverdale Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brighton, they will face off against D'Evelyn at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
