Basketball Game Preview: George County Rebels vs. Northeast Jones Tigers

The George County Rebels will head out on the road to take on the Northeast Jones Tigers at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

George County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Greene County just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 53-51. The matchup was a 25-25 toss-up at halftime, but the Rebels couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Northeast Jones played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against South Jones, falling 60-34. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost six in a row.

George County suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Northeast Jones, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
