Volleyball Recap: South Newton Comes Up Short

South Newton and Faith Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South Newton had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Eagles. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

South Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Faith Christian, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 31-4.

South Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Faith Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Rossville on the 1st.
