Basketball Recap: Metrolina Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Grace Academy

Metrolina Christian Academy was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Grace Academy on Monday. The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors blew past the Grace Academy Lions 69-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since November 22, 2024.

Tyler Gadd had a dynamite game for Metrolina Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Gadd a new career-high in assists (two). Cole Torrez was another key player, going 5 for 9 on his way to 16 points.

Metrolina Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

As for Grace Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge North Hills Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 7th. Grace Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.2 points per game this season.
