Basketball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton lost against Dover back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Canton Tigers were beaten by the Dover Longhorns 66-17. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Canton has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which is still a better percentage than their 5-17 record this season. As for Dover, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

While Canton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
