Volleyball Game Preview: Dublin Coffman Rocks vs. Dublin Scioto Irish

Dublin Coffman is a perfect 3-0 against Dublin Scioto since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rocks will square off against the Irish at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Dublin Coffman came up short against Hilliard Davidson on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Dublin Coffman was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hilliard Davidson's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Dublin Coffman saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaeden Long had 19 assists. Long is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 19 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Meanwhile, Dublin Scioto lost 3-0 to Westerville South on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-20.

Dublin Coffman's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Dublin Scioto, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Dublin Coffman beat Dublin Scioto 2-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2025. Will the Rocks repeat their success, or do the Irish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
