Basketball Game Preview: Granville Golden Horde vs. Hoosick Falls Panthers

Granville is 0-6 against Hoosick Falls since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Granville Golden Horde will head out on the road to face off against the Hoosick Falls Panthers at 10:00 a.m. One thing working in Granville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matches.

Granville is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They were dealt an 88-61 defeat at the hands of Corinth.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hoosick Falls, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 55-46 victory over Saratoga Central Catholic on Saturday.

Hoosick Falls pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Granville, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.

Granville came up short against Hoosick Falls when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 71-65. Can Granville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
