Football Recap: Monroe Skates Past Belmont with Ease

Monroe's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Belmont Sentinels, posting a 46-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Monroe now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Belmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Monroe will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Hollywood at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Belmont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
