Baseball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Louisville Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss last Monday.

Winona's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Louisville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-18.

Winona has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Edwards on the 11th. As for Louisville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against East Webster on the 12th.
