Aaron Banfield posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He is becoming a predictor of Claremont's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 5-2 (and 7-10-1 when he doesn't).
