Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eastern). They blew past the Glenwood Tigers 28-2 on Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Leah Rader made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits (and not a single walk). Rader was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-6 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024.

Looking ahead, Eastern will challenge Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glenwood, they will face off against South Gallia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.79 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
