Volleyball Recap: St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats vs. Burlingame Panthers

St. Ignatius College Preparatory unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Burlingame Panthers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Burlingame scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.
