Recap: North Forest Bulldogs vs. Bay City Blackcats
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the North Forest Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 62-21 loss at the hands of Bay City. North Forest's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, North Forest still got an impressive performance from Clinton Babineaux, who rushed for 152 yards on only 15 carries, and also threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Delwen Russell also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bay City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Estrada, who threw for 284 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.2 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Xylan Williams, who picked up 171 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
North Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Bay City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
North Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bay City will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Kilgore at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Kilgore is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
