Falcon has gone a perfect 8-0 against Mitchell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Marauders at 3:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Falcon is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Sand Creek 21-7 on Thursday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Sailor Livingston made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and two doubles. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Maddy Andrews and Michelle Morales did most of the damage at the plate: Andrews went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Morales went 4-for-6 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Andrews a new career-high. Sadie Prejean was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Falcon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .569. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sand Creek only posted an OBP of .344.
Meanwhile, Mitchell got the win against Sierra on Tuesday by a conclusive 30-17. The contest marked the Marauders' most dominant victory of the season so far.
The team relied heavily on Natalie Gaytan, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with eight RBI, four runs, and one triple. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Roberts, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
Falcon's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10. As for Mitchell, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Falcon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like Mitchell struggles in that department as they've averaged .432. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Falcon's way against Mitchell when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Falcon made off with an 18-0 win. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marauders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
