Soccer Game Preview: Desert Vista vs. Browne

The Desert Vista Thunder will square off against the Browne Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Desert Vista is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Liberty, who was ranked fourth at the time (Desert Vista was ranked 16th). Desert Vista took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Liberty last Saturday. The Thunder have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Meanwhile, Browne had just enough and edged Verrado out 2-1 on Tuesday.

Anthony Hernadez was the driving force of Browne's attack as he scored both of Browne's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Browne is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Desert Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-3.
