Softball Recap: St. Laurence Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

There's no place like home for St. Laurence, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Loyola Academy Ramblers a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

St. Laurence pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.9 runs. As for Loyola Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
