Baseball Recap: Dysart Takes a Loss

Dysart lost against Combs back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Dysart came up short against Combs, falling 13-3. The Demons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Dysart saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Hernandez-Olaiz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that Hernandez-Olaiz snagged this season.

Dysart's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Combs, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-4-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dysart will square off against Tempe at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Dysart their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Combs, they will face off against Poston Butte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Poston Butte has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
