After a string of three wins, Brownell Talbot's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Quinn Iverson paced Brownell Talbot's offense, picking up 17 kills. Iverson got some help from Becky Hoban and her 20 assists.

Brownell Talbot's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
