Volleyball Recap: Live Oak Comes Up Short

Live Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Covington Lions, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Live Oak's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Covington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-21.

Live Oak has already played their next matchup (against Dutchtown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Covington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Mandeville on the 28th.
