Basketball Recap: Vincent Rhue's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Andrews over Timberland

Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 46-36 to the Timberland Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-37 back in January.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Vincent Rhue, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Rhue has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Brandon Cumbee was another key player, putting up six points.

Andrews' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Timberland, they pushed their record up to 8-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Andrews wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-44 loss against Burke on the 7th. As for Timberland, they have also already played their next contest, a 56-47 defeat against Philip Simmons on the 7th.
