Basketball Recap: TEACH Homeschool Comes Up Short

If TEACH Homeschool was riding high fresh off their 93-22 takedown of Sweethaven Christian Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Beach Breakers were dealt an 80-47 defeat at the hands of the Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks on Saturday. The Beach Breakers have struggled against the Warhawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

TEACH Homeschool's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryce Flynn, who posted 16 points, and Elijah Harwood, who earned 16 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Dickson, who had nine points.

TEACH Homeschool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Spirit HomeSchool, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

TEACH Homeschool and Spirit HomeSchool will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Beach Breakers see the court they'll take on Summit Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 12. As for Spirit HomeSchool, their break will end when they face Peninsula Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on December 13.
