Baseball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

Jefferson Davis County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to the Sacred Heart Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 last Tuesday.

Jefferson Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sacred Heart, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson Davis County will square off against Magee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart, they will challenge Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
