Softball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

After flying high against Maranatha last Tuesday, Pasadena came back down to earth. Pasadena came up short against the San Marino Titans on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Milania Thomas made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Elizabeth Salahuddin was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for San Marino, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pasadena will face off against Hoover at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hoover will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pasadena surely won't give up without a fight. As for San Marino, they will take on Monrovia at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. San Marino's pitchers better be ready for this one: Monrovia has averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
