Basketball Recap: Marlboro Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Marlboro, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 51-44 win over the Middletown South Eagles on Monday. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The victory got Marlboro back to even at 1-1.

Marlboro and Red Bank Catholic will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middletown South, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Matawan Regional at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Middletown South will come in still looking for their first win of the season.
