Baseball Recap: Nonnewaug Takes a Loss

The Nonnewaug Chiefs didn't have quite enough to beat the Stonington Bears on Tuesday and fell 4-3.

Nonnewaug saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler DiElsi, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Nonnewaug's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Stonington, they pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

While Nonnewaug had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
