Volleyball Game Preview: Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions vs. Stern Titans

After both having extra time off, the Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions and the Stern Titans will shake off the rust and duke it out at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Los Angeles Leadership Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Los Angeles Leadership Academy made easy work of University Pathways Medical Magnet and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy never let University Pathways Medical Magnet on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-22.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Stern and Animo De La Hoya had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Boxers last Wednesday.

Stern walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 14-25, 25-17, 25-10.

Stern's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Los Angeles Leadership Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Los Angeles Leadership Academy beat Stern 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
