Softball Recap: Pendleton Extends Winning Streak to Five

With a playoff win on the line, Pendleton rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Sweet Home Huskies get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Buckaroos have won 14 contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Pendleton, bringing their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sweet Home, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

Coming up, Pendleton will take on Marist on Friday. The Buckaroos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season. Sweet Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
