Softball Recap: Brock Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Brock put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Wylie Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Brock pushed their record up to 15-0-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wylie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Brock is taking a road trip to face off against Mineral Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brock's pitching crew has only allowed 1.5 runs per game this season, so Mineral Wells' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Wylie, they will welcome Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wylie is facing Cooper at the right time seeing as Cooper is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
