Max Peters posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out five batters over 5.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

Peters' strong effort led Scotia-Glenville over South Glens Falls and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long.
