Recap: Preston Indians vs. Century Diamondbacks
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Preston Indians ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 43-42 win over Century. This was a revenge contest for Preston, as the team was forced to settle for a 44-37 loss when these two played last Tuesday.
Preston's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brynlie Galloway led the charge by scoring ten points. Another player making a difference was Tayla Wakley, who scored nine points.
Preston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Century, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.
Preston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Century also has no future games currently scheduled.
