T.R. Miller came into Thursday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over the Flomaton Hurricanes on Thursday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Leading T.R. Miller to victory were Myles Johnson and Eli Hubbert. Johnson posted ten points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Hubbert put up 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Marquice English, who had five points and six rebounds.

T.R. Miller smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Flomaton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being TiShaun Baldwin, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zykenzie Martin, who put up eight points.

T.R. Miller's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Flomaton, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the T.R. Miller Tigers challenge the Excel Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Flomaton, they will take on Escambia County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Flomaton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
