Baseball Game Preview: Dundee Vikings vs. Blissfield Royals

For the second straight game, Dundee will face off against Blissfield. The Vikings will challenge the Royals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Dundee and Blissfield, and Dundee kept the tradition alive. The Vikings came out on top against the Royals by a score of 6-3 on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jack Foor was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Evan Bennett also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Blissfield dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Dundee, the win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-5.

Dundee's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's matchup. The Vikings have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game.
