Game recap: Daniel High School Football Team takes down Broome

CENTRAL, S.C. - Daniel (Central, S.C.) put up 14 points in the fourth quarter in Saturday's game to seal their 45-21 victory over Broome (Spartanburg, S.C.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Lions led 24-14 at the half.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 10.

Jared Dillingham was the top performer for Daniel. The junior quarterback ran for one touchdown.



The Centurions' Corey Bennett played well. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

The loss comes after Broome defeated Chapman 42-35 last week.
