Basketball Recap: Glasgow Takes a Loss

If Glasgow was feeling good fresh off their 63-25 takedown of Rocky Boy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glasgow Scotties fell to the Poplar Indians 54-48. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scotties this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-54 back in January.

Glasgow now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Poplar, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Glasgow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-29 loss against Malta on the 8th. As for Poplar, they have also already played their next contest, a 48-43 defeat against Fairview on the 7th.
