Basketball Game Preview: Oak Hill Raiders vs. Waterville Panthers

The Oak Hill Raiders and the Waterville Panthers will round out the year against one another at at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Hill is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Oak Hill is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since January 25th on Saturday. They lost 53-33 to Poland. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Waterville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 38-34 to Erskine Academy.

Oak Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Waterville, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Oak Hill strolled past Waterville when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 58-41. Will Oak Hill repeat their success, or does Waterville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
