Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarksdale). They never let the Rosa Fort Lions get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won seven in a row.

Clarksdale's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Rosa Fort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksdale will take on Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lafayette is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season. As for Rosa Fort, they will face off against Water Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Water Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Rosa Fort surely won't give up without a fight.
