Softball Recap: Nogales Takes a Loss

Nogales lost against Tucson High Magnet School back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Nogales lost 19-2 to Tucson High Magnet School. The Apaches have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nogales saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ximena Barnett, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Nogales' loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nogales will head out to challenge Buena at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tucson High Magnet School, they will take on Sunnyside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
